Director Essentials: Using the Pyramid Model with Staff to Address Challenging Behavior

This training will focus on how to use the Pyramid Model from the Center on the Social and Emotional Foundations for Early Learning (CSEFEL) with staff to understand the meaning behind challenging behaviors and how prevention strategies are key to meeting the social/emotional needs for all children. Help staff learn to recognize their own biases, realizing that behavior is a language for children and focus on supporting at-risk children in the classroom.

This workshop is free thanks to the generous sponsorship by the Jefferson County Regional Collaborative through a grant from the Governor’s Office of Early Childhood.

This training will be conducted via Zoom, and you will be required to participate via video and audio through a computer, phone, or tablet. All classes are on Eastern Standard Time.
