  • This event has passed.

Please join us for a discussion about how you can promote the well-being of children and families by understanding the Kentucky Strengthening Families Protective Factors Framework. During the session, we will discuss, define, and examine practices that foster social connections, which is one of the six KY Protective Factors. By the end of the session, you will have greater knowledge on what the Protective Factors are, as well as some strategies that specifically support building greater social connections within your program between families, staff, and children. Protective Factors are described as conditions or attributes in individuals, families, communities, or the larger society that help to reduce harm and increase the well-being of children and families. If you are interested in learning more about the power of relationships and the important role social connections play in our lives and businesses please join us!
