Family Child Care Community of Practice Session 2: Promoting Family Involvement
Successful early childhood education depends on relationships and collaborations with children’s families and communities. For this reason, it is critical to establish positive partnerships with children’s families and to include families in the childcare setting. This COP will help identify ways to establish and maintain positive relationships with children’s families. This COP is for in-home child care providers only.
The Family Child Care Community of Practice will meet monthly on the third Tuesday from 6:00-8:00 pm EST. The cost is free. Each COP is approved for 2 hours of ECE-TRIS credit.
