Language of Art: Open-Ended Explorations for Preschoolers
April 27 @ 4:30 pm - 6:30 pm
- This event has passed.

Facilitator Angie Kinser:
As children become more skillful with art materials, they can use them to communicate their understandings, emotions, and questions. In this session, educators will learn how to develop children’s language of art through multiple encounters with a wide range of art materials using process art explorations. Teachers will participate in a hands-on art experience to better understand how to use open-ended art explorations to support children’s fluency in the language of art which they need before they can use the art for communication and critical thinking.
