Nature Community of Practice – Enjoying Caretaking

June 10, 2020 @ 10:30 am - 11:30 am

  • This event has passed.

Engage in a discussion about different scenarios in which children have had opportunities to explore caretaking through nature. Through reflection, the group will also explore the different languages children have to express themselves and how nature offers children different ways to deal with the stress that they may have experienced.

Communities of Practice are formed by early childhood educators and leaders who share a passion for teaching children and engage in the process of learning how to do it better as they interact regularly and support one another. Most Communities of Practice meet monthly, with the same group of teachers or leaders attending over an extended period of time.

Notice: This is an online class.  Please make sure you include a valid email address when registering and that you have internet and email access at the time of the training. This training will be conducted via Zoom.
