Nurturing Budding Social-Emotional Development in Busy Babies and Toddlers!

June 18, 2022 @ 9:30 am - 12:30 pm

  • This event has passed.

Strong, positive relationships help children develop trust, empathy, compassion and a sense of right and wrong. Starting from birth, babies learn who they are by how they are treated. Loving relationships provide young children with a sense of comfort, safety and confidence. They teach young children how to form friendships, communicate emotions and deal with challenges. This three hour session aims to increase early childhood professionals’ understanding and knowledge of social-emotional development from birth to three years old. By the end of the session, you will have increased knowledge and skills in nurturing the social-emotional developmental needs of young infants and toddlers.

This workshop is free thanks to the generous sponsorship by the Jefferson County Community Early Childhood Council through a grant from the Governor’s Office of Early Childhood.
