4-C is excited to share a powerful and deeply profound film about anti-bias education in early childhood. The 48 minute film, Reflecting on Anti-Bias Education in Action: the Early Years, is inspired by the work of educators implementing anti-bias education for young children seeking a more just world. View the film on your own time and then join us for a debrief of our collective learning with featured speakers and the film’s director. Please join us, along with Nadia Jaboneta, Brian Silveira, and John Nimmo, for a reflective dialogue and deep dive into the work of the featured educators.

Anti-bias education places diversity and equity goals at the heart of everything we do in early childhood. This film recognizes that very young children are observing, experiencing, and actively making sense of social identities and biases. Children have a deep and empathetic sense of fairness. Let’s discover what we can do to strengthen the voice of children and create a more just world.
