Did you know that when families understand the developmental needs of their growing children, abuse is less likely to occur? Kentucky is consistently ranked among the highest in our nation for child abuse and neglect. Early childhood providers play an important role in educating families on the developmental needs of young children. Join 4-C to discover the critical points in development when families and children need us the most. By learning about child development and sharing this information with families on a regular basis you are supporting Kentucky’s mission of ending child abuse. After attending this session you will be more knowledgeable about child development and valuable resources from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention which are research-based, family-focused and available in English and Spanish.

This workshop is free thanks to the generous sponsorship by the Kosair Charities Face It Movement.
