Strengthening Families: Social Connections

This session will explore the benefits of social connections for families within your program. When families feel connected and supported, they can ask for help when needed. Friends, family members, neighbors, and community members provide emotional support, help solve problems, offer parenting advice, and give concrete assistance to parents. Early Child Care Providers play a huge role in providing opportunities and support to connect parents together to expand their network. Networks of support are essential to parents and offer opportunities for people to “give back”, an important part of self-esteem, as well as a benefit for the community.

This training will be conducted via Zoom, and you will be required to participate via video and audio through a computer, phone, or tablet.
