Supporting STARS Series: Family Engagement – Good beginnings never end!

June 2, 2022 @ 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm

  • This event has passed.

We all know that when families are involved in a child’s learning process, the child does better mentally and physically, today and tomorrow. That is why family engagement is a big component to the Early Childcare profession. Family engagement activities have many benefits that support the center, child, family, and community. When Family engagement activities are implemented they can be used as a great starting point to build relationships with families in a meaningful way that will support child development but, it doesn’t end there!. Knowing how to work with families from a strength based approach can have very effective results that will have lasting impact on children and their families that will create strong communities.

This workshop is free thanks to the generous sponsorship by the Jefferson County Community Early Childhood Council through a grant from the Governor’s Office of Early Childhood.
