The Nature Way – Supporting Social and Emotional Development

Children naturally want to be outside. So why not encourage more play outside when there are so many benefits beyond the frivolous thoughts of outdoor play not being seen as important as indoor play? This session will focus on how nature has the natural ability to offer children experiences that support their social and emotional development through their play. Educators will gain a better understanding of the benefits and ideas on how to set up the outside environment that encourages self regulation through large group and small group facilitation.

This training will be conducted via Zoom, and you will be required to participate via video and audio through a computer, phone, or tablet.
