When Childhood Anxiety Leads to Challenging Behaviors

June 23, 2022 @ 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm

  • This event has passed.

Sometimes anxiety can be very confusing to notice in a classroom that is often filled with busy children and sometimes it is not. We all have witnessed children going through separation anxiety, but are there more types of anxiety that you should know about? This training will go over specific details that will help educators notice what anxiety can look like in children and strategies that can help the child cope. Understanding the different types of anxiety can also help families understand when to seek professional help and when extra support is needed.

This workshop is free thanks to the generous sponsorship by the Jefferson County Community Early Childhood Council through a grant from the Governor’s Office of Early Childhood.

Notice: This is an online class.  Please make sure you include a valid email address when registering and that you have internet and email access at the time of the training. This training will be conducted via Zoom, and you will be required to participate via video and audio through a computer, phone, or tablet. All classes are on Eastern Standard Time.
