Active Supervision in the Classroom

Active supervision is critical for keeping young children safe and transforms supervision from a passive approach to an active skill. This training will focus on the educator’s role in planning and maintaining a safe classroom to prevent accidents and misbehavior. Participants will learn several strategies to put active supervision into place to benefit children and staff.

This course is an interactive e-learning experience, and participants will need access to a computer or tablet that is connected to the internet. You will complete this module at your own pace, working through a variety of activities (videos, articles, short-answer responses, assignments, quizzes, etc.).
