In this e-course, participants will be introduced to the ASQ-SE (Ages and Stages Questionnaire) as a social emotional screening tool to be used for children in early childhood education. The focus of the eCourse will be on the purpose and benefits of using this screener as a tool for recognizing children’s social-emotional milestones, as well as an indication of when referrals or early interventions may be needed. This tool is also a way to engage parents and families in the social-emotional development of children.

This course is an interactive e-learning experience, and participants will need access to a computer or tablet that is connected to the internet. You will complete this module at your own pace, working through a variety of activities (videos, articles, short-answer responses, assignments, quizzes, etc.).
