The different sounds of an infant and toddler classroom are in abundance. Cooing, babbling, and talking children are all around. Early care and education professionals can use these beginning stages of language in young infants and toddlers to support the continued growth and development of language skills. In this training we will explore these beginning stages of language development and discuss strategies to support children reaching each new milestone.

This course is an interactive e-learning experience, and participants will need access to a computer or tablet that is connected to the internet. You will complete this module at your own pace, working through a variety of activities (videos, articles, short-answer responses, assignments, quizzes, etc.).
