By reading “More Working in the Reggio Way” by Julianne Wurm and completing this eCourse, educators will explore the current American approach to young children’s education and some common challenges to American educators who want to move toward a Reggio Inspired practice. Educators will learn ways to shift from what they currently do and how they do it starting from their own ideas on how children learn and moving toward how Reggio believes children learn. Readers will learn how to incorporate those ideas into their daily work with children and families. The learner will also learn about Julianne Wurm’s post-Reggio research on children and learning. This eCourse will guide educators through reflective questions to the reading and some reflective questions on their work with children and families.
Participants are responsible for obtaining the books either from the public library or by purchasing their own books. The price covers only the cost of the training module and credit hours.
