The book “Trauma-Responsive Strategies for Early Childhood” is a guide for teachers and administrators. During this book study, participants will learn to work from a relationship-based framework and the importance of connection and understanding. Important topics include brain development, resilience, and attachment. Participants will receive specific tools to ensure social and emotional wellbeing of children in their programs. Participants will read the book, watch a video regarding trauma and engage via questions and exploring various observation tools including, but not limited to, antecedent, behavior, and consequences form.
Participants are responsible for obtaining the books either from the public library or by purchasing their own books. The price covers only the cost of the training module and credit hours.
